ERP Project Manager (Support & Enhancement Projects)

Position Summary

\n

The ERP Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating ERP-related projects that enhance, support, and optimize existing enterprise business systems. This role focuses on delivering application improvements, process enhancements, system upgrades, compliance initiatives, reporting solutions, integrations, and business transformation projects within an established ERP environment. The Project Manager works closely with business stakeholders, ERP support teams, developers, vendors, and IT leadership to ensure successful project execution while maintaining system stability and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

\n

• Manage multiple ERP-related projects simultaneously from initiation through deployment and post-implementation support.
• \n
• Lead enhancement, upgrade, optimization, data governance, reporting, workflow, and integration projects.
• \n
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• \n
• Facilitate project governance processes, status reporting, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications.
• \n
• Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and operational priorities.
• \n

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with business process owners, functional analysts, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• \n
• Drive issue resolution and decision-making across functional teams.
• \n

Risk & Financial Management

• Identify project risks, dependencies, constraints, and mitigation plans.

• Monitor project budgets and resource utilization.
• \n
• Track project benefits, ROI, and operational improvements.
• \n
• Escalate critical issues and provide recommendations to leadership.

Change Management & Adoption

• Partner with business teams to support organizational change management activities.

• Coordinate training, communications, and user readiness efforts.

• Drive adoption of new processes and system capabilities.

• Measure project success through business outcomes and user feedback.

Qualifications

\n

Education

\n

• \n
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• \n
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• \n

\n

Experience

\n

• \n
• 5-10+ years of project management experience within ERP environments.
• \n
• Experience managing ERP enhancement, upgrade, integration, and business transformation initiatives.
• \n
• Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar enterprise systems.
• \n
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams in complex business environments.
• \n
