Summary



Professional analyst role that supports the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program under limited supervision. Identifies, assesses, monitors, and reports on enterprise, operational, financial, and insurable risks across the organization. Maintains the risk register and risk dashboards, tracks key risk indicators (KRIs), and prepares risk analyses, reports, and presentations for management. This position also supports business continuity and crisis management planning, insurance and certificate of insurance administration, claims coordination, and risk-related data collection and analysis as needed.


This position will support our Risk team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities



+ Identifies, assesses, and documents enterprise, operational, financial, and insurable risks; maintains the corporate risk register and keeps it current.

+ Maintains highly confidential and highly sensitive risk, claims, and incident information, files, correspondence, and records.

+ Conducts risk assessments and analyses; develops, monitors, and reports key risk indicators (KRIs) and recommends risk mitigation and control improvements.

+ Prepares routine and complex risk reports, dashboards, and presentations using advanced spreadsheet, data-visualization, and analytics tools.

+ Researches, analyzes, and compiles risk data, loss trends, and exposure figures to support management decision-making.

+ Monitors emerging risks, regulatory developments, and industry trends, and communicates potential impacts to the ERM team.

+ Ensures risk projects and deliverables are completed timely and accurately; evaluates and reports progress to team members and management.

+ Supports business continuity and crisis management planning, including response analysis and risk input.

+ Administers insurance program support, including certificate of insurance approvals, and oversees the process of renewal data.

+ Maintains and manages the objectives dashboard of prioritized risk focus areas.

+ Identifies process challenges and recommends improvements to risk management workflows and reporting.

+ Acts as SME for RMIS and GRC applications.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.


Education & Experience



+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4 year college or university with a concentration in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is required.

+ One to three years of experience in risk management, insurance, finance, audit, or analytics is preferred.

+ Professional certification or progress toward one (e.g., ARM, CRM, FRM) is a plus.

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and familiarity with data-visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).

+ Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Proven organizational, project-management, and written and verbal communication skills.

+ Familiarity with enterprise risk management, insurance, business continuity, or governance/risk/compliance (GRC) concepts and tools.
