COMPANY BACKGROUND:

Mac Mountain invests in fiber broadband networks and builds long-term partnerships with municipalities, rural electric co-ops, developers, homebuilders and regional ISPs.

LightCraft, a division of Mac Mountain, delivers comprehensive shared services to fiber network operators across the United States. We specialize in streamlining operations, enhancing customer experiences, and accelerating growth for our partners. Our expertise spans network deployment, customer acquisition, billing and support, and technology management, enabling our clients to focus on core business objectives while leveraging our scalable and efficient solutions. With a commitment to innovation and operational excellence, LightCraft empowers fiber providers to deliver high-speed, reliable internet to communities nationwide.

LightCraft is the operator for GWI, which is a subsidiary of Mac Mountain.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Enterprise Sales Representative to drive growth in our business services portfolio, including dedicated internet access, voice solutions, and carrier Ethernet connectivity, delivered over fiber. The ideal candidate combines deep telecommunications knowledge with proven success in consultative, enterprise-level sales.  A successful Enterprise Sales Representative may design a custom network architecture that reduces a multi-location client’s latency by 30%, increases bandwidth capacity, and secures a multi-year service contract—driving recurring revenue and customer loyalty.

Compensation is commission-based with a high earnings potential, primarily covering the New England region (ME, NH, VT) of the company.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Identify, engage, and close opportunities with mid-to-large enterprise clients across diverse industries.

  2. Present complex telecom solutions—including internet, phone, and Ethernet services—clearly and persuasively to technical and business stakeholders.

  3. Understand clients’ network infrastructure needs and translate them into tailored service proposals and quotes.

  4. Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead development to contract negotiation and account handoff.

  5. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless implementation and excellent customer experience.

  6. Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM systems.

  7. Stay updated on emerging network technologies, competitive offerings, and regulatory developments impacting enterprise connectivity.

  8. Maintain and retain customers through account management and partnering with Customer Operations to address enterprise clients needs.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Strong technical understanding of IP networking, Ethernet, MPLS, and voice solutions.

  2. Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets in a commission-based environment.

  3. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

  4. Self-motivated and disciplined, with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time.

  2. From time to time, completing required job functions may require travel.

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation for this role consists of a modest base salary with the majority of total earnings driven by uncapped, performance-based sales commissions.

  • Benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options (as applicable)

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Sales or designated Leadership at LightCraft and works closely with network engineering, operations, billing, and sales teams across all managed networks.
