LCRA’s Digital Architecture team is seeking a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect to become part of our group. Your role includes building network architecture for extensive, complex, enterprise-wide data networks and technical solutions. How You’ll Contribute:
- Take charge of developing system infrastructure builds to support current and future on-premises and off-premises Cloud-based organization needs.
- Apply multiple technologies to develop the most effective overall solution(s) that address current and future needs of various LCRA business units. Emphasize long-term equipment management and network operability.
- On an intermittent basis, lead audits of the network systems and configurations to ensure systems are built to match architectural composition.
- Research and maintain knowledge of new technologies that may apply to the business. Provide build recommendations based on long-term technology strategy. Ensure hardware and protocols are accurately coordinated across business systems.
- Develop recommendations for system capacity planning and corresponding architecture changes due to capacity objectives including appropriate efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with cyber architecture and operations team(s) to ensure business continuity, security hardening, security posture, and CISO policies and procedures.
How You’re Qualified:
- Nine or more years of experience in network architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, or network systems design, including large-scale enterprise environments, commercial carrier networks, or related field or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
How You’ll Stand Out:
- Knowledge and experience with operational technology integration with enterprise information technology systems and application services.
- Solution expertise applying strategic, tactical, and technical processing to deliver onPrem OT, onPrem IT, Hosted Cloud, Hybrid, and Cloud services.
- Expert knowledge of next-generation technology solutions including Cloud, DWDM, broadband, data networking, MPLS, Software Defined Networking, p-LTE Transport build.
- Proficient knowledge with managing business continuity programs focused on high availability and disaster recovery SLAs.
- Experience with governing service portfolios with SOC 2 Type 2, SSAE18, and ISO27001 compliance.
- Industry certifications regarding Enterprise and Technology Architecture concepts, tools, and practices preferred.
