Position Title

Assembly Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform standardized and repetitive mechanical assembly tasks by following detailed verbal and written instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools, power tools, and scanners while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly Operations

+ Perform basic mechanical assembly of components, assemblies, and subassemblies.

+ Assemble inserted components according to visual aids, work instructions, and specifications.

+ Apply labels and identification markings to products as required.

+ Complete repetitive assembly tasks with consistency and accuracy.

Quality Inspection

+ Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure proper fit, alignment, and completion.

+ Verify assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.

+ Identify defects or assembly issues and report them to supervisors.

Equipment & Reporting

+ Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

+ Operate barcode scanners and related equipment for tracking production activities.

+ Accurately record and report assembly completion and production data.

Safety & Compliance

+ Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

+ Follow manufacturing and security procedures at all times.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills

+ Experience performing assembly work in a manufacturing environment.

+ Proficiency in mechanical assembly techniques.

+ Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

+ Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.

+ Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs .

+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.

+ Experience using scanners for production tracking or data entry.

+ Familiarity with assembly line processes and quality inspection procedures.

+ Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
