Entry Level Associate Attorney - Worker’s Compensation + PI Pre-litigation (359/o)

National, award winning plaintiff litigation firm with a proven record of success representing tens of thousands of clients in personal injury litigation, civil litigation, and mass torts including product liability, dangerous drugs and defective medical products is looking to add a recently licensed attorney to help with their Workers Compensation docket and the personal injury pre-lit docket.

The Workers Compensation/PI Pre-litigation Attorney position will include all aspects of workers’ compensation claims and some personal injury claims. If you are starting your legal career, are a fast learner who is interested in these areas of practice and would like the opportunity to learn from a great group of mentors and a supportive team then this job is for you. This position is full-time and onsite at the firm’s Houston, TX office location.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be licensed in Texas and in good standing; 1+ years of experience; Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required
• Must be Fast learner
• Must have good writing skills
• Must have case management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing
• Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must have superior organizational skills with great follow through
• Must have solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
• Must be able to thrive under pressure and be self-motivated
• Must have a team rst attitude
• Any experience with workers’ compensation helpful but not necessary
