Entry-level Civil Engineer – Land Development

GPI is seeking a civil site project engineer to join our Land Development Group in our Albany, NY office. We have a backlog of exciting projects ranging from Higher Ed, K-12 Schools, Commercial Hospitality, Municipal, Parks/Recreation, and much more. For more information, visit: www.gpinet.com Responsibilities: Will be involved in the design of site plans, including drainage, erosion, and sedimentation control, grading, and layout.Conducting research and field investigations.Supporting production of plans, reports, specifications, and other studies.Performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysisPreparation of cost estimates and specificationsPartnering with your supervisory team to meet your future goals and visions. Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited programEIT preferred.Exposure to land development design, grading, drainage, and stormwater managementWorking knowledge of AutoCAD with Civil 3D preferred.Exposure to HydroCAD and hydrological/hydraulic design.
