We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified civil engineer to join our construction and/or design teams. We offer in-office design-focused roles, in-field construction inspection roles, or a combination of both. During the interview, you will have the opportunity to express your interests, motivations, and skills relevant to each role.DescriptionOversee roadway design and construction.Manage projects in the field.Use civil engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D) to prepare design plans.Perform engineering calculations.Support engineers with daily tasks across multiple projects.Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and agencies.Meet multiple deadlines and produce high-quality work under tight schedules.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam before start date.Knowledge of AASHTO and ASCE standards and policies.Familiarity with Wisconsin DOT and local agency procedures is a plus.Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, especially for earthwork calculations, academic experience acceptable.Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.Willingness to travel, including long drives, overnight trips, and rural or urban areas.Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. upon employment start.Availability for night work, weekends, and flexible hours.Soft skills: teamwork, openness to feedback, adaptability, active listening, strong work ethic.Physical RequirementsWalking 5+ miles on uneven terrain at construction sites.Lifting or carrying at least 50 lbs.Pushing and pulling equipment.Keyboard use.Work EnvironmentFieldwork at construction sites or offices.Occasional travel for meetings, training, and events.If you are a career-oriented, motivated individual interested in joining a successful firm, we want to hear from you!
