Job Summary Grow your career with our growing business. We are seeking an entry level Civil/Environmental Engineer with up to five years of experience to join our team! You will get the opportunity to work in the water resources and transportation fields supporting some of the regions largest infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water and wastewater systems, municipal water, sewer, stormwater, highway, bridge, roadway, and airport projects
Field and office assignments
Conduct environmental sampling and reporting
Prepare permit applications for PADEP, Army Corps, PennDOT, and City of Pittsburgh
Technical writing
Conduct construction inspections
Qualifications
Bachelors or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering desired
Preferred E.I.T. or willingness to obtain
Ability to work independently and collaboratively and have a positive attitude
Attention to details, time management, and organization
Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to operate field instrumentation including water quality equipment and GPS
AutoCAD and/or MicroStation competency
Experience with site grading, site design and associated permitting
HEC-RAS, HydroCAD or other water resource-related programs experience
