We are seeking Entry Level CNC Machine Operators in Latrobe, PA
Seeking a Surface Operator that has the ability and knowledge to grind carbide preforms of all shapes and sizes. This individual will have had experience in setup, and operation of surface grinding equipment including basic Knowledge in CNC Surface Grinding. In addition, this individual will be supportive incorporating current and future products into a CNC grinding process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Major Responsibilities:
-Maintain a safe working environment per OSHA standards throughout the plant and assist in implementing any required updated safety regulations. -Be able to learn new equipment quickly based on a foundational understanding of CNC and grinding. -Responsible for performing, set-up and identifying appropriate fixtures and required wheels to produce parts. -In the event of critical absences this individual will be able to step into a production lead position and get a process running effectively, followed by a successful handoff to operator personal.
Education and/or Work Experience -Manufacturing or process related background. -Hands on experience -blueprint reading a plus -Ability to develop and meet project schedules.
