Role Snapshot
Position: Entry-Level CNC Machinist, Milling Cell
Location: On-site in Richmond, Illinois
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:30am (training on 2nd shift)
Impact You’ll Make
Set up and operate CNC milling machines; adjust work/tool offsets to maintain tolerances.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
Assemble cutters to holders; install and index inserts as required.
Load/unload parts using an overhead crane safely and efficiently.
Inspect parts to order specs and quality requirements; complete all quality/inspection records.
Troubleshoot with programming, tooling, and machine support personnel.
Demonstrate a supportive, team-first attitude in the shop.
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, etc.).
Working knowledge of machining fundamentals (feeds, speeds, chip load) and CNC tooling.
Ability to read production drawings and interpret blueprints.
Skill with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Availability for 2nd shift and overtime as needed.
