We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate CNC machines, follow production schedules, and help produce high-quality parts in a safe and efficient environment. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions to produce quality parts
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts into CNC machines
- Operate machines to complete production runs efficiently and accurately
- Monitor machine operations and make basic adjustments as needed to maintain quality
- Follow system-generated production schedules to support on-time delivery
- Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Perform daily machine checks and basic operator preventative maintenance (PMs)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Assist with additional production tasks as assigned
Critical Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Basic understanding of machine operation and manufacturing processes
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
- CNC experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Safety shoes required
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 65 lbs.
- Ability to stand and work on a manufacturing floor for extended periods of time
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, and move throughout the work area
