Job Title: Construction Project Engineer / Quality Control InspectorJob Description
This role combines Quality Control Inspector and Project Engineer responsibilities to support structural steel construction on a large-scale hyperscale data center project in central Indiana. You will help interpret drawings, manage quality documentation, track and resolve issues, coordinate between field and office teams, and support project reporting. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel, gaining direct exposure to both quality control and project management. The initial assignment is expected to last approximately four months, with strong potential for extension based on project performance and future construction phases. This position offers significant overtime, hands-on experience with structural steel, and a clear path to grow into greater responsibility.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, onsite role based at a large hyperscale data center construction site in central Indiana. You will primarily work from an on-site construction trailer and in the field, supporting active structural steel erection and related activities. The typical schedule is approximately five 10-hour days during the week, plus an additional 8-hour day on Saturday, resulting in significant overtime opportunities. The current building height is approximately 24 feet, with future projects anticipated to be taller, requiring comfort working around multi-story structural steel construction. You will spend substantial time outdoors in an active construction environment, moving between the trailer, field areas, and inspection locations. The role involves regular use of construction technology platforms, document management systems, and standard office software. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, field crews, inspectors, and third-party testing agencies in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting that emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous learning.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
