Midwest Energy Services is looking for motivated, people-oriented individuals to join our growing team in Independence, OH. This opportunity is especially well suited for candidates coming from customer service, retail, restaurants, hospitality, or other service-focused backgrounds who are ready to turn their experience working with people into a long-term career.
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll work face-to-face with homeowners throughout the Cleveland and Akron area, helping them understand available electric, natural gas, and community solar options for their homes.
No energy industry experience is required. We provide training and development designed to help entry-level candidates and career changers build confidence, strengthen their communication and sales skills, and grow into larger roles within the organization.

Job Responsibilities
- Engage with homeowners in a professional, one-on-one environment
- Learn about customers' needs and help explain available residential energy options
- Provide a positive, informative customer experience from the initial conversation through enrollment
- Represent Midwest Energy Services and its energy partners professionally within the local community
- Develop communication, customer service, sales, and relationship-building skills through ongoing training
- Work toward individual and team goals while building the skills needed for future leadership opportunities
