Position Overview
GDC is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. This role will provide foundational technical support to end users, assist with hardware and software setup, and support core IT systems such as Active Directory and Office 365.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in IT, gain hands-on experience, and develop skills in system administration and technical support.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent training/experience)
Basic understanding of:
Windows OS
Active Directory
Microsoft Office / Office 365
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
Internship or hands-on experience in an IT support role
Exposure to:
Azure AD / Office 365
PC imaging and deployment
Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP basics)
Familiarity with ticketing systems
