Looking for an Entry level Electrical Engineering Tech for a well established MEP design firm located in Clark, NJ.
The ideal candidate will have experience preparing electrical drawings and supporting commercial, industrial, or infrastructure-related projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics.
- Assist engineers with design development and construction documentation.
- Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines.
- Perform field verification and support project site visits as needed.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design or drafting preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or other design software.
- Understanding of electrical systems and construction documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- New Jersey residents with own available car.
