Hardware Test Engineer - In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI)
Position Summary
The Hardware Test Engineer will support the In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) team by developing and executing test plans to validate infotainment hardware components and systems. This role is responsible for conducting hands-on testing, analyzing results, identifying issues, and providing technical recommendations to ensure components meet performance, reliability, and design requirements. The engineer will work closely with suppliers, design teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the development and validation of infotainment technologies. Responsibilities include testing components such as audio systems, wireless charging systems, USB interfaces, touch controls, antennas, and other infotainment-related hardware.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
0-5 years of engineering, laboratory, product validation, or testing experience.
Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical testing methodologies.
Experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting test results.
Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate technical information through reports and presentations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
