We are seeking a self-motivated Structural Entry-Level Engineer to join our team in Lexington, KY. This role involves working on sign and bridge inspections and developing professional engineering skills through practical assignments using standard techniques and procedures.Typical Duties and Responsibilities:Perform design and inspection work that requires no previous experience.Assist in completing inspection and assessment reports.Prepare design computations and quantity estimates.Keep project managers informed of workload and scope changes.Use engineering software for calculations and design drawings.Participate in technical societies and attend meetings outside of normal hours if needed.Coordinate with draftspersons/technicians on drawings and reports.Observe safety protocols diligently.*Relocation assistance is available.*Base salary ranges from $67,000 to $80,000, plus bonuses and benefits, depending on experience.Click HERE to view the benefits Collins offers.Qualifications Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university, with 0-4 years of experience and continuing education.Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification or ability to obtain within one year.Physical Demands:Must be able to sit, stand, handle objects, reach, and communicate effectively.Occasional walking, climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.Visual abilities include close, distance, color, and depth perception, with focus adjustment.Field work may involve rugged terrain, adverse weather, and extended standing periods.#J-18808-Ljbffr
