We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Event Assistant to join our growing fundraising team. In this role, you will represent nonprofit organizations at community fundraising events, engage with prospective donors, and help raise awareness and financial support for meaningful charitable causes.

As the face of our clients' campaigns, you will play a key role in donor acquisition, community outreach, event operations, and brand representation. This position is ideal for individuals interested in nonprofit fundraising, customer engagement, event marketing, public relations, or entry-level sales.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup, organization, and execution of community fundraising events, including promotional displays, signage, and fundraising booths.
  • Represent nonprofit clients professionally and positively at all events.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event attendees, potential donors, sponsors, and community members.
  • Educate the public about nonprofit missions, programs, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Generate support and funding by engaging directly with prospective donors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming event environment.
  • Coordinate with event organizers, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Accurately track and record donations and fundraising activity.
  • Prepare event summaries, donor feedback reports, and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Build positive relationships within the community and strengthen brand awareness for nonprofit partners.
  • Uphold all fundraising regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, fundraising, retail, hospitality, event coordination, marketing, or community outreach is a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a face-to-face, public-facing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for nonprofit organizations, charitable causes, and community impact.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
