Entry Level - Field Service Technician

Responsibilities: • Perform factory start -up services , troubleshooting , and maintenance on variable fre quency drives, humidifiers, energy recovery wheels , and air handling units • Troubleshoot problems with customer equipment and controls , as they relate to our products , and perform repairs where necessary • Recommend upgrade paths on equipment to customers • Show initiative and willingness to learn and solve problems for the benefit of the customer • Be honest, punctual, courteous and maintain a positive, customer -oriented attitude • Must have a strong desire to always work in a safer manner Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems (HVAC , electrical, plumbing preferred) • Experience with three phase power ( under 600V ) • Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) • Knowledge of electrical and HVAC wiring diagrams • Excellent root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work well in teams • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills • Able to use your knowledge and skills to assist other technicians • Occasional ability to handle a physical workload • Valid driver's license • Able to gain access to secure government sites (Preferred) About Advanced Thermal Solutions, LLC: Serving Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland, Advanced Thermal Solutions , LLC is an HVAC manufacturers' representative committed to providi ng quality service and innovative solutions to engineers, contractors, and owne rs.
