Entry Level: General Laborer

Location: Dallas, TX 75220
Pay Rate: $18.00–$19.00/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
Base Schedule: Monday–Friday
Additional Availability: Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed

Overview

Supports daily plant operations through industrial cleaning, material handling, equipment operation, and general production support. This is an entry-level, hands-on position with opportunities to cross-train in multiple plant operator functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping and industrial cleaning throughout plant and processing areas.

• Clean equipment, work areas, and facility spaces as needed.

• Assist operations and maintenance teams with daily plant activities.

• Handle and move bulk materials using shovels, vacuums, and other equipment.

• Operate forklifts, skid-steers, front-end loaders, and other industrial equipment as trained.

• Assist with rail and barge operations as needed.

• Cross-train to support various operator positions throughout the facility.

• Follow all safety procedures, hazard controls, and workplace policies.

• Perform physically demanding work in hot, cold, dusty, elevated, or confined-space environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong commitment to safety, attendance, and reliability.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crawl, climb stairs and ladders, and perform physical work throughout the shift.

• Must be willing to work 3rd shift, overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules as required.

• Forklift, skid-steer, front-end loader, or other industrial equipment experience preferred.

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
