Shape reliable production in Indianapolis

An established manufacturing facility in Indianapolis is expanding its maintenance team and seeking an entry-level industrial reliability professional who’s ready to learn, grow, and keep high-speed equipment running safely and efficiently.

A day (and night) in the role

You arrive ready to support production in a fast-moving, 24/7/365 operation. You’ll partner with senior technicians to keep lines humming—tackling preventive maintenance, pitching in on installs and upgrades, and helping troubleshoot issues so downtime stays minimal. Your shift follows a predictable 2-2-3 rotating schedule—you’ll know your full-year calendar—and runs 7:00pm–7:00am.

What you’ll handle

  • Keep production machinery and facility systems in top condition through routine inspections and repairs
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and document work in the CMMS
  • Assist senior techs diagnosing mechanical, electrical (480V, 3‑phase), pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Support equipment installations, modifications, and reliability improvements
  • Perform routine maintenance during planned downtime to protect uptime

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Self-starter who takes direction well and owns outcomes
  • Vocational training in Industrial Maintenance or 2+ years of related experience
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Forklift or aerial lift experience preferred
  • Clear communication, organized work habits, and strong problem-solving

Work setting and physical demands

  • Industrial environment with elevated noise; facility is non‑climate‑controlled
  • Lift up to 55 lbs; climb ladders; bend, twist, and maneuver as needed

Compensation and benefits

  • Up to $32/hour
  • Direct hire role
  • Paid holidays in a 24/7/365 operation with double pay
  • Comprehensive benefits provided
