Position Overview

Stand By is hiring for reliable entry-level machine operators. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing and learn valuable skills in a clean, organized machine shop environment.




You will be trained to operate production machinery, support daily production goals, and help ensure parts are produced safely and to quality standards.




Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production and machining equipment

Load and unload parts and materials into machines

Perform basic machine adjustments under supervision

Inspect parts visually and with basic measuring tools to verify quality

Follow written work instructions and production procedures

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Communicate any mechanical or quality issues to your supervisor

Support team production goals and complete tasks as assigned




Qualifications

No prior machine operating experience required; on-the-job training provided

Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Dependable attendance and punctuality

Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for an entire shift

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
