$2500 SIGN ON BONUS Entry Level Machinist needed to run manual machines. If you are mechanically inclined (automotive, small engines, etc.) this is a great opportunity to begin a career in machining with true opportunities for growth. Now a part of PCX Aerosystems, our small family business started in 1956 and continues to offer new and unique aerospace applications. You will train on first shift (630AM - 3PM) and then transfer to 2nd (3PM - 1230AM) shift. - Measuring and marking raw materials needed to manufacture parts
- Setting up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing plan
- Operating equipment to carry out each step correctly
- Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise
- Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects
- Must perform routine maintenance on assigned production equipment, i.e., maintain cleanliness of work area and machinery, check machinery fluids and alert maintenance personnel and/or supervisor of malfunctions.
- Operate lifting and handling equipment such as hand truck, pallet jack, or overhead hoist to maneuver in-process or finished components to desired location.
- Ability to quickly learn production equipment.
