Entry-Level Machinist
Location: Wallingford, CT
Full-time, with two shifts: 6:00am-2:30pm and 2:30pm-11:00pm
OVERVIEW:
Perform setup and operation of various manual machines such as saws, threading, and heading machines. Training provided for this entry-level role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn machine capabilities and operation
- Run multiple machines simultaneously
- Conduct product inspections
- Assist coworkers as needed
- Follow health, safety, and sustainability rules
- Participate in safety and environmental training
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18+ years old
- Strong communication, math, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs (up to 100lbs with assistance)
- Pass drug screening (US, Puerto Rico, Guam)
PREFERRED:
- Experience in machining or related fields
