Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, occasional OT Fridays

Position Description:
Material handling duties associated with supplying assembly line.
- Material Handling duties associated with supplying pre-kit, kitting and Controlled Environment Room (CER)
- Confers with Material Handler Team Lead to coordinate flow of materials or products into pre-kit and kitting.
- Assists material handling team members with material handling activities as directed by Material Handler Team Lead.
- Communicate with appropriate personnel any potential shortages and/or future inventory projections.
- Provides accurate documentation for inventory control.
- Seeks guidance and direction for the performance of the listed responsibilities and duties.
- Pulls material via miscellaneous requisitions.
- Performs scrap transactions in IQMS.
- Always follow all safety procedures.
Position Authority:
Works in prescribed discipline and completes tasks utilizing checklists and processes. Receives direction from the Material Handler Team Lead
Essential Job Functions:
- Inventory control and record accuracy.
- Participates and provides input for process improvement programs.
Knowledge and Education:
High school education or equivalent.
Job Experience:
0 - 2 years warehouse / material handling experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Possesses written and oral communications skills sufficient to speak clearly and distinctly, read simple instructions in English.
- Performs expanded basic arithmetic calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals).
- Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
Equipment Used:
Standard office computer, pallet jack and forklift.
Physical Requirements:
- Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous day-to-day activities of a primarily productive nature. (Lifting 60 lbs. /carrying 25 lbs.)
- Moderate lifting, carrying, bending, pushing/pulling, climbing and prolonged standing.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and material.
- Requires the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
- Requires the ability to judge distance and space relationships (i.e. visualize objects of multiple dimensions).
- Must be able to handle chemicals safely and confidently.
- Must be able to use protective clothing/devices as outlined in procedures.
- Ability to work in a well-lighted, climate controlled, warehouse setting with adequate ventilation.
