The Junior Mechanical Engineer should be capable of working under direct supervision to complete tasks assigned on both small and large projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external clients is required. Candidate must be well organized, be able to demonstrate critical thinking and can quickly recognize issues and be part of the solution.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Have knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluidsEvaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and judgement based on guidance from lead engineers to design and construct HVAC and plumbing systems and equipment in buildings using building information modeling (BIM)Coordinate HVAC&P systems with other disciplines to produce complete building designsEngage with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, electrical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Engineer-in-training (EIT) certificationIndividuals should expect to already have or obtain their EIT within one year.MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)TRACEBlueBeam Revu (PDF Handling)Additional InformationRelocation is not available for this position.
