We are seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Machinist to join our Screw Machine

Academy with a dynamic team in Kentwood, MI. If you have a passion for machining

Responsibilities

Operate multi-spindle screw machines such as, Tornos, Acme and Gridley.

Company Tornos Training Academy will focus on:

• Basic Components and Operations of a Tornos Screw Machine.
• Operational Controls and Basic Maintenance.
• Preparing Bar Stock and Restocking.
• Identifying the Cause of Quality Defects.
• Changing Tools and Adjusting Slides.
• Shaving, Roller Supports and Floating Holders.
• Maintaining Collets, Pushers and Replacing Cutoff Tools.
• Adjusting Pickoff and Cutoffs.
