Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate (Level 1 or 2) Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support the Direct Attack program in Saint Charles, MO!

In Direct Attack, we produce a variety of munitions at high rates for US and foreign customers. We have mature, high-volume production and production programs going through development.

These analysts will primarily support Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) production by collecting and delivering production as-built data to our customers. They will also support the overall Direct Attack production system by supporting Tier meetings, continuous improvement initiatives, and Lean/5S+ activities. It is a great opportunity to learn the Boeing Production System, develop Lean/5S+ skills, and utilize the Boeing Problem Solving Method.

Position Responsibilities (Level 1 - Entry Level):

  • Assist with activities across limited functions to resolve emergent issues in support of specific operations
  • Assists with assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Provides limited feedback on assessment results
  • Assist the organization to implement strategies and plans
  • Works under close supervision

Position Responsibilities (Level 2 - Associate):

  • Assist with activities across multiple functions to address emerging issues in support of specific operations
  • Conduct assessments of processes and practices against applicable standards and criteria
  • Provide limited feedback on assessment results and identified gaps
  • Support the organization in implementing strategies and plans
  • Work under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years' experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years' experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
  • 3+ years' experience using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools
  • Level 2: 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range:

Entry Level (Level 1): $61,200 - $82,800

Associate (Level 2): $74,800 - $101,200
