A law firm seeks an entry-level patent attorney to join its growing intellectual property practice. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of intellectual property law, including patent and trademark prosecution, opinion writing, and litigation. The position is ideal for candidates with a technical background and a passion for innovation and legal strategy.Duties Assist with preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications.Collaborate with clients and technical experts to understand and protect innovations.Conduct research and draft legal opinions on patentability, infringement, and other intellectual property matters.Support litigation teams in intellectual property disputes.Develop a deep understanding of patent law through direct mentorship and practical experience.Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree with strong academic performance in law school.Background in engineering, computer science, or advanced sciences.Prior professional experience in engineering, computer science, or a related field is a plus.Commitment to pursuing registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Education Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or an advanced science field.Certifications Eligibility to sit for the USPTO patent bar exam.Willingness to become registered as a patent practitioner with the USPTO.Skills Strong legal research and writing abilities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and precision in technical and legal work.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new areas of intellectual property law.Benefits Comprehensive, individualized training from senior attorneys.Exposure to a variety of intellectual property matters.Opportunities for long-term professional growth within the firm.#J-18808-Ljbffr
