Join to apply for the Entry Level Plumbing Engineer – San Francisco, California role at PAE .The firm values staff, fosters learning and growth, and is committed to the success of clients.What You'll Do Oversee the preparation of deliverables and documents including narratives, calculations, drawings and specificationsAble to effectively communicate plumbing design options to a diverse stakeholder groupDetermine fire protection and plumbing system requirements for various building typesProvide design direction, mentorship and guidance for the project teamIndependently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through constructionComplete the project within the budget and scheduleKnowledge of other disciplines and direct interdisciplinary coordinationProvide updates to master specifications; provide input into standardsPerform plumbing design calculations and equipment selectionProvide opinions of probable construction costsPerform site visits and issues reportsImplement the project quality management plan (QMP)Perform other duties as assignedWhat You Bring Bachelor's Degree for discipline work or equivalent experienceRelevant Professional Credential (i.e., PE, CPD) preferred4+ years' experience in plumbing designThorough understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire ProtectionThorough understanding of project phases and their associated deliverablesDevelop the ability to assemble and run a teamUnderstand plumbing design concepts and effectively communicate them to othersKnowledge of applicable plumbing codes and standards including: UPC, IPC, NFPA and IBCMicrosoft Office SuiteRevit/AutoCADWhat We Offer Hiring Base Salary Range: $81,617-$92,897 annualThis position is eligible for time and a half overtime payThe base salary is one component of PAE's competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered.
