Entry Level Project Estimator - Civil Construction - NoVA
The Entry Level Project Estimator - Civil Construction - NoVA will:
- Assist in preparing detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for civil sitework and land development projects.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, bid documents, and scope requirements.
- Support the estimating team in developing competitive project proposals.
- Utilize estimating software such as PlanSwift and earthwork modeling tools to perform quantity takeoffs.
- Research material pricing, subcontractor quotes, and labor costs.
- Participate in constructability reviews and feasibility evaluations.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure estimates align with project execution plans.
- Help maintain estimate databases and historical project cost information.
- Participate in a rotational development program that includes exposure to field operations and project management.
- Learn best practices in bidding strategy, risk evaluation, and cost analysis.

The Entry Level Project Estimator - Civil Construction - NoVA will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Ideal for candidates with 0-2 years of construction experience who are looking to developer their careers.
- Internship experience within construction is a plus.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with Excel and learning construction software platforms.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Desire to grow into a long-term estimating or preconstruction career path.
