Kay Riordan - State Farm Agency in Pembroke Pines, FL is hiring a full-time Entry-Level Insurance Sales Representative to join our team.

No prior insurance experience is required. If you are motivated, personable, competitive and enjoy helping people, this is an opportunity to build a career in insurance with an established, award-winning State Farm agency.

Our agency has proudly served the South Florida community for more than 30 years. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, build relationships with customers and grow with our team.

What You'll Do

• Learn to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
  
• Develop leads and schedule appointments
  
• Contact prospective customers and follow up with leads
  
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  
• Generate new business through sales conversations and follow-up
  
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
  
• Help customers with Auto, Home, Life and other insurance needs
  
• Meet established sales goals and performance expectations
  
• Learn the insurance products, sales process and licensing requirements needed to succeed

What We're Looking For

• You don't need insurance experience to apply. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Sales or customer service experience is preferred
• Retail sales, inside sales, outside sales, telemarketing or call-center experience is a plus
• Florida 2-20 or 4-40 insurance license (must have or be able to obtain; licensing assistance is available)
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and in person
• Able to multitask and prioritize
• Willing to learn and develop professionally
• Must be able to work in our Pembroke Pines, FL office
