Description: Entry Level Security Technician
TradeSTAR is currently hiring Entry Level Security Technicians for commercial low-voltage and electronic security projects in the San Antonio area. These positions are with established low-voltage contractors supporting commercial construction, system installations, and infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibilities
Assist with installation of commercial security systems
Pull, route, and secure low-voltage cabling
Assist with installation of:
o Access control devices
o CCTV and IP camera systems
o Intrusion alarm devices
o Door hardware and locking devices
Install cable supports including J-hooks, sleeves, and pathway systems
Assist senior technicians with device terminations and system testing
Label and organize cabling infrastructure
Maintain clean and safe work areas on active commercial job sites
Follow project drawings, safety procedures, and installation standards
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of low-voltage, electrical, construction, or security installation experience preferred
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Ability to work on ladders and lifts
Ability to work in commercial construction environments
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable transportation required
Preferred Experience
Experience or exposure to:
Access control systems
CCTV/IP camera systems
Structured cabling installations
Commercial construction projects
Low-voltage cable pulling and pathway installation
