Advance Services Inc. is currently looking for shop welder laborers in Sterling, Colorado. You will work alongside experienced fabricators, learning to build heavy equipment attachments (such as buckets, couplers, and snow plows) while supporting daily shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
Learn to perform high-quality production welding (MIG/Flux-Core) and structural fabrication under direct mentorship. Material Preparation: Use angle grinders, saws, and torches to clean, cut, and prepare steel components for the welding team.Assembly Support: Assist in aligning, clamping, and prepping heavy metal parts using tape measures and hand tools.Material Handling: Safely move raw steel and finished products around the shop using forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists (training provided).Shop Maintenance: Help keep the facility safe and efficient by cleaning workstations, organizing tools, and managing scrap metal bins.
