GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA) is seeking an Entry Level Site-Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Team in our Syracuse, New York office. The successful candidate should have a strong academic record, solid understanding of civil engineering fundamentals, and a desire to work on a variety of exciting and challenging projects both in the office and in the field. Assignments will likely be focused on site design and stormwater management components of energy projects but will also span a variety of traditional site development and natural resources-based projects. Previous work experience is preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and communication skills are highly valued. GZA emphasizes a One Company environment, and as a member of our team, you may be asked to assist on projects and tasks outside of your primary responsibilities.
As an Entry Level Site-Civil Engineer, you will work on a variety of project components such as: site planning, layout, grading, site design development, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling of small and large watersheds, post-construction (permanent) stormwater management design, stream bank restoration, and climate change adaptation and resilience. You will work with a team of dedicated civil engineering professionals on the technical execution of projects and will collaborate with the overall interdisciplinary team. The base salary for this position may range between $66,500 and $85,400. The actual base salary and total compensation will depend on many factors, including location, candidate experience, education, professional licensure, and other qualifications.
