You’ll work alongside experienced technicians running cable and installing equipment for residential and commercial projects.
What You’ll Learn
- Basic construction practices and tool usage
- Identification and use of low voltage wiring types
- Understanding rough-in and trim phases of a project
Responsibilities
- Pull, label, and organize low-voltage wiring
- Assist lead technicians with installation of cameras, TVs, speakers, smart deadbolts, maglocks, card readers and other equipment
- Follow directions from lead technicians and project leaders
- Maintain professional appearance and represent the company well on job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Some travel required

- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Ability to work on ladders when needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Experience That Helps (But Not Required)
- Wiring experience
- Security systems, access control or AV equipment installation
- Basic networking or computer knowledge
