Position Title: Junior IV&V Software Systems Analyst
Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. (AMS) is seeking a talented Engineer, Computer Scientist, to join our diverse team, in Huntsville, AL., to create unique solutions for complex problems. AMS provides responsive, cost-effective engineering and scientific solutions ranging from air and missile defense technologies, command and control, radar systems, seekers, modeling & simulation, and prototype hardware development and testing.
Position Description:
The software analyst performing this role will perform the following:
- Support software and system analysis activities across multiple teams.
- Perform data analysis using tools such as Python, MATLAB, Excel, or similar analytical tools.
- Assist with requirements analysis and review to ensure traceability and alignment with expected behavior.
- Support code analysis / software behavior analysis as needed to assist with technical assessments and issue investigation.
- Review and verify technical documentation, software-related artifacts, and supporting engineering materials.
- Support test execution activities, including procedure review, results capture, and discrepancy identification.
- Assist with identifying, documenting, and tracking software anomalies, incidents, and discrepancies.
- Draft incident reports, issue summaries, and technical documentation to support team activities.
- Support technical reviews, team meetings, and follow-up actions as required.
- Maintain organized analysis records and supporting documentation.

Required Education and Experience:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an ABET- accredited university.
- Graduating GPA of 3.5+
Travel Requirements:
- Must be able to travel up to 10-15% of the year.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities.
Security Requirements:
- Citizenship: Candidate must be a US only citizen.
