Our talented staff of more than 650+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions.We are seeking an Entry‑Level Transportation Engineer to support the design and development of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects . This role is ideal for an early‑career engineer interested in hands‑on design work, plan production, and collaboration with experienced transportation professionals on projects that serve public agencies and communities. This role is based out of our Columbus, OH office.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the design of roadway and highway projects, including horizontal and vertical alignments, typical sections, and grading plansSupport preparation of construction documents such as plan sets, profiles, cross‑sections, and detailsPerform engineering calculations related to roadway geometry, drainage, pavement design, and quantitiesAssist with development of project specifications, cost estimates, and quantity take‑offsApply state and local DOT design standards, manuals, and specifications to project workCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil/site, drainage, structures, utilities, and survey.
