Job DescriptionDewberry is seeking Entry Level Transportation Engineers to join our Transportation Group in our Virginia Beach, VA office. The individual will work as part of a team in all facets of transportation engineering including design of horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage systems, erosion and sediment control, development of maintenance and protection of traffic schemes, and preparation of construction and right-of-way acquisition plans for a variety of project types and clients.Required Skills & Required ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in Transportation) requiredStrong communication and organizational skillsProficiency using MicroStation required; Geopak and OpenRoads experience preferredExperience working on MDOT SHA, MdTA, and/or VDOT plans in design-bid-build or design-build delivery preferredWorking knowledge of MDOT SHA, MdTA, and/or VDOT standards preferredProficiency in MS Office softwareDesire to work in a team environmentFundamentals of Engineering (FE) is preferred*At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization.*Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
