Job Duties

Perform structural welding in a shipyard environment.
Identify and follow the appropriate Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
Safely operate welding equipment.
Complete assigned welding tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
Move and organize materials as needed to support production.
Perform additional job duties as assigned by supervision.

Weld TestCandidates must successfully complete:

Written welding test
Hands-on weld test
- 1-inch plate
- 12-inch weld
- Ceramic tape backing
- Vertical and overhead welding positions

Key Requirements:

Preferred: 6+ years of structural welding experience
Must have experience with MIG welding
Candidates with less experience may be considered if they can successfully pass the weld test
Must be proficient in operating welding equipment
Must be able to read and follow welding procedures
Must pass both the written and practical welding tests

Shifts:

Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
OT is available
