Entry-Level Welder
Position Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $20-$23 per hour
Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Welder to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates who have completed a welding program or have basic hands-on experience and are looking to grow their skills in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic MIG, TIG, or stick welding as assigned
- Read and interpret simple blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with safety standards
- Operate hand tools and basic welding equipment
- Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a welding trade program or equivalent hands-on experience
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques and metal types
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to pass a basic weld test prior to placement
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification or enrollment (a plus, not required)
- Prior shop or manufacturing experience
