Job Title: Entry PSR I
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 3+ Months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays (7:00 AM–12:00 PM)
Position Summary:
The Entry PSR I / Lobby Experience Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and support during the check-in process. This role focuses on creating a welcoming environment, assisting patients with self-service kiosks or tablets, answering questions, and helping maintain an organized lobby. The position also provides phlebotomy coverage during breaks and staffing shortages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with check-in procedures.
- Provide a positive, compassionate, and professional patient experience.
- Support lobby operations and maintain a clean, organized waiting area.
- Cover phlebotomy duties as needed for breaks or staffing support.
- Accurately collect, process, and document clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate patient information.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- 1–2 years of customer-facing experience (retail, healthcare, hospitality, home health aide, etc.).
- Some phlebotomy experience required (including internship/externship experience).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer, keyboarding, and data entry proficiency.
- Ability to work in both lobby and specimen collection environments.
