ENTRY Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Entry PSR I 

Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 3+ Months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays (7:00 AM–12:00 PM)

Position Summary:
The Entry PSR I / Lobby Experience Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and support during the check-in process. This role focuses on creating a welcoming environment, assisting patients with self-service kiosks or tablets, answering questions, and helping maintain an organized lobby. The position also provides phlebotomy coverage during breaks and staffing shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients with check-in procedures.
• Provide a positive, compassionate, and professional patient experience.
• Support lobby operations and maintain a clean, organized waiting area.
• Cover phlebotomy duties as needed for breaks or staffing support.
• Accurately collect, process, and document clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate patient information.
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 1–2 years of customer-facing experience (retail, healthcare, hospitality, home health aide, etc.).
• Some phlebotomy experience required (including internship/externship experience).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer, keyboarding, and data entry proficiency.
• Ability to work in both lobby and specimen collection environments.
