Xylem is looking for an Entry Production Planner associate to report to our Thomasville, GA location and support our manufacturing location.
This is a first shift position, including some weekends and/or overtime as required.

Compensation: $54,400 - $87,000
Schedule / Shift: 1st shift, overtime and weekends as needed

The Entry Production Planner is an important administrative role within a manufacturing environment, providing day-to-day support for material flow, project execution, production order management, and transactional accuracy. This position is well suited for a detail-oriented professional who can manage routine responsibilities effectively while responding to changing business priorities. The Planning Specialist works closely with production, procurement, and planning teams to support operational continuity and help meet customer commitments.
The ideal candidate has a demonstrated history working safely, following standard work, and supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Job Summary
The Entry Production Planner provides administrative and transactional support for project and production activities within a manufacturing operation. The Entry Production Planner issues materials accurately, prepares production documentation on schedule, completes system transactions correctly, and maintains and communicates delivery information.

Work Environment
This is an on-site position in a manufacturing environment. The role is primarily based in a climate-controlled office setting and requires frequent presence in a non-climate-controlled production area to support daily operations and coordinate with plant personnel.
Regular interaction with both office and production employees is expected, along with routine movement between office and manufacturing spaces. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and must be worn at all times in designated production areas. The Planning Specialist is expected to work safely and in compliance with all company policies, environmental health and safety requirements, and site procedures.
