    Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager - Heavy Industrial Steel EnvironmentA leading steel fabrication manufacturer is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across a dynamic production environment. This is a hands‑on, plant‑based leadership role with the authority to shape culture, elevate standards, and drive operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs across the facilityLead behaviour‑based safety initiatives and promote a strong safety‑first cultureConduct facility audits, track corrective actions, and ensure timely closureInvestigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement preventive measuresDeliver engaging safety training for employees and contractorsMaintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulationsPrepare and manage required safety documentation, reporting, and recordkeepingServe as the primary point of contact for OSHA visits, insurance inspections, and regulatory agenciesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field (Equivalent practical experience will also be considered)Minimum 5 years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of OSHA , EPA , and relevant state/local regulationsProven success conducting audits, leading investigations, and driving CAPA initiativesExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or management systemsPreferred certifications: ASP , CSP , OSHA 500 , OSHA 30‑Hour , First Aid/CPR/AED#J-18808-Ljbffr
