Job Title: Cleanroom Environmental Technician

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: Williamsburg, MI
Assignment Length: 4+ Month Contract

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleanroom Environmental Technician to help maintain cleanroom environmental controls while supporting facility safety and environmental initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring production areas meet strict cleanliness standards through routine cleaning, documentation, inventory management, and compliance with safety and environmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanroom environments in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform routine and non-routine cleaning, inspections, and environmental maintenance activities.
  • Follow cleanroom gowning procedures and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to accurately complete required records.
  • Prepare cleaning, disinfectant, and rinse solutions daily to support production schedules.
  • Coordinate with department leads to ensure required cleaning and disinfection frequencies are met.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and environmental maintenance materials.
  • Ensure production areas remain clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
  • Follow all PPE requirements and safely handle and dispose of cleaning and waste materials.
  • Report safety concerns or incidents promptly and participate in departmental safety meetings.
  • Support Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives by following environmentally responsible work practices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, medical device, laboratory, or regulated production environments is preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and strong commitment to workplace safety.
