Seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to manage and oversee environmental programs and ensure regulatory adherence in a poultry or meat/protein facility.
Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, tracking audits, developing corrective actions, and monitoring permits, licenses, and records.
Will serve as a technical resource for compliance issues, conduct inspections, and develop action plans for violations.
Provide technical support, compliance training, and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
Maintain the Intellex Program with monthly updates.
Qualifications include a BS in Environmental Science or related field, 4-7 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, including 40CFR and Wastewater licensing. Occasional travel required.
