Review and approve facility, process, and material changes to assess and mitigate potential environmental impacts and permit implications. Oversee environmental permitting, including identifying requirements, calculating emissions, preparing applications, and negotiating terms with regulators. Ensure regulatory compliance by interpreting applicable federal, state, and local regulations; conducting compliance audits; and implementing corrective actions as needed. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a related technical, science, or engineering discipline. Experience in a management or professional role within a mid‑size or moderately complex manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of environmental regulations and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. About the Company

T

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co

Looking back, the founding of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1898 seems especially remarkable, for the beginning was anything but auspicious. The 38-year-old founder, Frank A. Seiberling, purchased the company's first plant with a $3,500 down payment -- using money he borrowed from a brother-in-law Lucius C. Miles. The rubber and cotton that were the lifeblood of the industry had to be transported from halfway around the world, to a landlocked town that had only limited rail transportation.
