  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with site leadership, engineering, operations, construction, and cross-functional teams to ensure environmental requirements and best practices are embedded in daily operations and long-term planning

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, Boeing’s internal policies. Maintain and continuously improve the environmental management system and compliance oversight processes

  • Provide oversight and technical direction for environmental permitting, reporting, and inspections; coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed

  • Partner with site expansion, construction, and design teams to integrate environmental requirements into facility design, construction planning, and operational readiness activities to enable safe, compliant growth

  • Serve as a liaison with government agencies to cultivate and maintain productive regulatory relationships

  • Lead, mentor, and develop environmental staff; foster a high-performing team culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning

  • Identify, prioritize, and drive environmental initiatives and integrated action plans that reduce risk, improve performance, and deliver measurable business value. Apply Lean principles to optimize processes and organizational effectiveness

  • Use data analytics and structured problem-solving to inform decisions; establish and track metrics, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely closure of action items

  • Prepare executive-level briefings, status reports, and technical documentation for site leadership and key stakeholders

  • Promote Boeing values — Safety and Quality, People Focus, Trust, Ownership, and Innovation — within the EHS organization and across the site

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or other relevant technical field

  • 5+ years of experience with environmental compliance and environmental program management

  • 5+ years building influence and strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 5+ years leading or managing a team

  • Capability to travel up to 5%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Advanced degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a closely related technical discipline

  • Experience integrating environmental requirements into construction and site expansion projects
