Silgan is hiring an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Brookfield, WI.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with environmental compliance programs across multiple manufacturing facilities
• Support air permitting activities, regulatory submissions, and compliance reporting
• Help prepare emissions inventories and environmental reports
• Assist with emissions calculations, stack testing coordination, and compliance monitoring
• Research and interpret environmental regulations with guidance from senior team members
• Support wastewater, hazardous waste, and other environmental compliance programs
• Partner with plant teams to identify and reduce environmental risks
• Participate in facility audits, inspections, and environmental assessments
• Help develop environmental training materials and communications
• Contribute to sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives
• Travel to manufacturing facilities to support environmental projects and compliance activities

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Internship, co-op, research, or academic project experience related to environmental compliance, sustainability, manufacturing, or engineering preferred
• Basic understanding of environmental regulations and compliance concepts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team environment
• Willingness to travel 20% - 30%
